SAN DIEGO, CA – A motorist was killed in a collision with an MTS bus in the University Heights area yesterday afternoon, NBC 7 reports.
The crash happened on Texas Street south of Madison Avenue at about 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 20. A Chevrolet Malibu had been driving north on Texas when it entered the southbound lanes and struck the MTS bus.
The Malibu’s 60-year-old driver died after being transported to a nearby hospital. His identity has not been released at this time.
A 59-year-old bus passenger was treated for a minor head injury.
