1 left hurt after crash on Otay Lakes Rd in south Jamul

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A 54-year-old woman suffered a minor injury Friday afternoon due to a two-vehicle crash in south Jamul, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident happened within the 13900 to 14350 block of Otay Lakes Road and was first reported to CHP at 3:56 p.m.

It was unclear what caused the collision, but a gray Volkswagen Jetta and a gray Nissan Altima were involved, leaving at least one travel lane blocked.

The CHP traffic incident page indicates a 54-year-old woman in one of the vehicles sustained a thumb injury.

All occupants were able to exit their vehicles following the wreck.

At least one tow truck was called to the scene, indicating at least one vehicle was significantly damaged or totaled.
