2 people displaced following patio fire in Fallbrook

FALLBROOK, CA – Two people were forced from their home following a patio fire in Fallbrook this morning, according to information from ABC 10 News.

The incident happened at around 6:20 a.m. at a home in the 700 block of Jericho Drive, near Gum Tree Lane.

The fire started in an outside patio area and spread to an enclosure, but luckily did not go into the home itself. The structure, however, suffered extensive smoke damage as a result of the blaze.

At around 6:47 a.m., the fire was under control.

Two people were displaced as a result of the fire.

No victims were immediately reported as injured.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the fire.
