Ambulance requested after multi-car wreck on I-15 near Bernardo Village

SAN DIEGO, CA — Medics were called Wednesday afternoon after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 15 near San Diego’s Bernardo Village, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision took place on the northbound interstate, south of Exit 22 to Camino Del Norte. Dispatchers first got the call just after 3:30 p.m.

While the circumstances of the event were not disclosed, a white Acura TSX, a silver Ford sedan, and one other vehicle were reportedly involved.

One caller reported significant damage to at least one vehicle and observed that another vehicle had come to rest facing the wrong way, blocking the far left lane.

The CHP Traffic Incident Information Page indicates an ambulance and at least two tow trucks were requested at the scene.

By 3:41 p.m., all involved vehicles had been moved to the right hand shoulder.

Authorities have not confirmed any major injuries at this time.
