Authorities ID victim following fatal motorcycle crash on SR-94 in Dulzura

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A 28-year-old man has been identified as the motorcyclist who died late September following a crash on State Route 94 in an unincorporated area of Dulzura, reports FOX 5 San Diego.

Authorities said the fatal accident occurred on the westbound lanes of SR-94, east of Roma Road, on the morning of Saturday, September 23.

Preliminary details indicate Drexel Ivan Autor Orgeta, of Chula Vista, was operating a 2024 Kawasaki ZX-6R westbound on the highway when he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. After entering the eastbound lanes, the motorcycle collided with a sign, causing the rider to eject.

Orgeta was rushed by airlift to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has since ruled his manner of death as accidental.
