Carlsbad, CA- Woman Dead After 2 Scooters Crashed Into One Another In A Lagoon

A woman is dead after 2 scooters crashed into one another in a lagoon in Carlsbad, CA on Sunday afternoon, August 18, 2019. The crash happened at about at the Agua Hedionda Lagoon off Harrison Street. A 17-year old male teen was reportedly riding a personal watercraft that crashed into another water scooter that had a man and a woman in it. The 2 other riders involved in the crash, though, did not require medical care as a result of the accident. The woman was reportedly declared deceased at the hospital after she was taken there.
