CHP responds to crash on I-5 SB onramp in Barrio Logan

SAN DIEGO, CA — A two-vehicle wreck was reported Wednesday afternoon on an Interstate 5 entrance ramp in San Diego’s Barrio Logan area, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision was reported on the ramp connecting Main Street/Yama Street to I-5 southbound toward National City. CHP officers responded to the scene after receiving a call at about 2:57 p.m.

Little information has been shared, but officials said drivers in a white Toyota Prius and a dark blue Ford pickup truck were involved. No travel lanes were reported blocked, as both vehicles were able to be pulled over to the right shoulder following the crash.

It was unclear whether anyone was seriously hurt, but the CHP Traffic Incident Page indicates an ambulance was called to the scene.
