Crash on SR-75 closes traffic lane and bike path in Imperial Beach

IMPERIAL BEACH, CA – A collision on State Route 75 led to lane closures and traffic delays in Imperial Beach this afternoon, according to Caltrans San Diego.

NB SR-75/Silver Strand Blvd south of Hooper Blvd (and just south of the bird sanctuary), right lane closed due to a traffic collision. The bicycle path along the east side of SR-75 is also closed in both directions of travel.

The accident happened on northbound SR-75 and Silver Strand Boulevard, near Hooper Boulevard, at about 1:10 p.m.

The right lane and bike path were closed as a result of the accident.

There was no word on the cause of the crash or if anyone was injured.
