Hawthorne, CA- Man Killed In A 2-Car Crash
A man was killed in a 2-car crash in Hawthorne, CA on Tuesday evening, January 7, 2020. The accident happened on the northbound 405 Freeway, close to the Rosecrans Avenue exit on the San Diego freeway. A man was reportedly driving a 2009 Honda at an unknown speed when he lost control of his car, spun out, and stopped facing the wrong way in the carpool lane with the vehicle’s lights turned off. 2 people in a 2007 Infiniti that was heading north in the carpool lane at around 55 mph crashed head-on into the blacked out Honda. The driver of the Honda was killed in the accident. The 2 occupants of the Infiniti complained of pain after the accident.
