Injuries reported after car goes down Oceanside embankment

SAN DIEGO, CA – Minor injuries were reported after a vehicle went off the roadway and down an embankment in Oceanside on Monday morning.

According to CHP, the vehicle was discovered about 75 feet down an embankment along West Lilac Road at Oma Road at about 9:45 a.m. When authorities arrived at the scene, they found the vehicle, but it appeared abandoned.

Further investigation led to the occupants of the vehicle. They reported minor injuries in the crash.

A tow truck with a cable was called to retrieve the vehicle.
