Man Sleeping on Sidewalk Struck and Killed in San Diego

A man sleeping on the sidewalk was struck and killed in a tragic car crash that occurred on March 17 around 6:30 a.m. near the San Diego Convention Center. According to San Diego police, a 50-year-old woman driving a Mercedes north on Harbor Drive near Park Boulevard veered off Harbor Drive due to a medical issue.

The man sleeping on the sidewalk was struck and suffered serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
