Medics called after motorcyclist hits pole at NE Fallbrook intersection

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — A man was injured late Thursday afternoon after a motorcycle accident off East Mission Road in northeast Fallbrook, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred on a span of the road (S13) at the intersection with Industrial Way. Dispatchers first got the call at around 4:04 p.m.

Authorities have not said what led up to the wreck, but the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page indicates a man was riding a motorcycle when he collided with a pole.

The active page also shows the male rider was communicating to the 911 caller following the incident. Though the rider reported pain, he ultimately declined ambulance transport to a hospital.

A flatbed tow truck responded to the scene at around 4:23 p.m.
