Medics respond to multi-vehicle crash on I-15 NB in Temecula

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — A multi-vehicle accident was reported Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 15 near central Temecula, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision took place on the northbound interstate north of Temecula Parkway, or California Highway 79, shortly before 3:16 p.m.

It was unclear what caused the crash, but it involved a 7-months-pregnant driver in a white Toyota Highlander, as well as two other drivers in a white minivan and a green minivan.

At this time, the CHP has not confirmed any injuries, but the CHP traffic incident log indicates an ambulance was requested at the scene.

All three parties appeared to declined tow services at the scene, suggesting only minor to moderate vehicle damage.
