Medics respond to two-vehicle wreck on I-15 near Bernardo Village

SAN DIEGO, CA — A two-vehicle accident was reported late Friday afternoon on Interstate 15 in the Bernardo Village area of San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials were called to the scene on the northbound side of I-15, north of Bernardo Center Drive, shortly before 3:50 p.m.

Preliminary details indicate a white Tesla Model Y was struck by a maroon Dodge. Both vehicles came to rest in the HOV lanes following the crash, blocking traffic.

The CHP has not confirmed any major injuries at this time, but the agency’s Traffic Incident Information page shows at least one ambulance was requested at the scene.
