Riverside Hit-And-Run Car Accident Hospitalizes Driver on Highway 91

19-year-old Shynise J. Brown suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run car crash that occurred on July 31‚ 2011‚ around 3:14 a.m. along the eastbound lanes of Highway 91 (SR-91) west of Madison Street. According to the California Highway Patrol Officers‚ a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu and a dark-colored vehicle were involved in this highway violence incident‚ making multiple unsafe lane changes.

The Chevrolet Malibu veered to the right and collided with Ms.Brown Chevrolet Monte Carlo‚ causing her vehicle to go out of control and strike the metal guardrail.

The victim suffered serious injuries in this hit-and-run accident and was immediately transported to Riverside Community Hospital for treatment. The driver of the Chevrolet Malibu will be charged with violating California Vehicle Code Section 23152(a) for fleeing the accident scene.
