Rollover semi crash shuts down SR-905 WB offramp near San Ysidro

SAN DIEGO, CA — A tractor-trailer overturned Friday morning on a State Route 905 connector ramp in south San Diego, according to FOX 5 San Diego.

The rollover occurred on the Exit 2C ramp connecting westbound SR-905 to northbound Interstate 805, in an area between San Ysidro and Ocean View Hills. It was first reported at about 8:20 a.m.

Officials have not said what caused the big rig to roll, but following the crash, the vehicle was found resting on its side at an incline. A number of water bottles were observed strewn around and rolling downhill from the truck.

While no injuries were immediately reported, all eastbound lanes of SR-905 appeared to be backed up.
