San Diego- Man May Not Survive Injuries Sustained After Motorized Bike Crashed Into Car

The survival of a man who was seriously injured in a crash between a motorized bike and a car was in question after a major crash that happened in San Diego on Friday night, August 23, 2019. The accident reportedly happened at the Grantville area of San Diego. The victim was a biker riding a motorized bike on the 6500 block of Mission Gorge Road around 7:55 pm. The biker tried to cross from the west side to the east side of the street, and, thus, crashed his bike at a nearly 90-degree angle into the passenger side door of a gray 2014 Subaru travelling northbound in the No. 2 lane. The crash caused the bike to overturn. The male biker sustained a major blunt force trauma. Alcohol and drugs were not believed to had been factors that caused the crash.
