San Pedro, CA- Man Injured After Being Pulled From The Ocean Following The Plunging Of His SUV Off Los Angeles Cliff

A 33-year old man was injured after he was rescued from the ocean following his SUV plunging off the Los Angeles cliff in San Pedro, CA early Monday, August 12, 2019. Rescuers found the said man swimming in the Pacific Ocean after his SUV plunged off the cliff at 3 am, Monday, August 12, 2019. The man has reportedly been hospitalized and was in stable condition. The man reportedly crashed the car he was driving into a curb, crashed through a fence, and plunged over a cliff along Pacific Avenue in San Pedro, CA. As such, the man’s SUV plunged off the cliff, landing front-first on an outcrop with the roof against the cliff face. The man reportedly left his vehicle, and attempted to climb the cliff back to the road, but ended up falling another 30 to 40 feet to a rocky shoreline below. That was the time that the man started swimming in the Pacific Ocean. After the firefighters pulled him out of the ocean, he was taken to a waiting ambulance at the dock nearby. The man sustained cuts and bruises from the accident.
