SDPD investigates car fire at O’Farrell Charter School in Encanto

SAN DIEGO, CA — Authorities responded to a vehicle fire late Monday at O’Farrell Charter School in east San Diego, according to ABC10 News.

San Diego Fire-Rescue Department crews responded to the scene at 6130 Skyline Drive, in the city’s Encanto neighborhood, shortly before 11:15 p.m.

The circumstances behind the blaze remain unclear, but authorities said a Cadillac sedan that had been abandoned in the school parking lot became fully engulfed in flames.

Responding firefighters were able to extinguish the fire in about 15 minutes.

No one was reported hurt in the incident.

The San Diego Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the event.
