SUV hit by loading truck on SR-905 EB in San Ysidro

SAN DIEGO, CA — Authorities were called to a crash involving a loading truck Friday afternoon on State Route 905 in San Diego’s San Ysidro area, reports the California Highway Patrol.

The accident took place on the eastbound lanes of SR-905 approaching Exit 2B to Interstate 805. It was first reported to the CHP shortly before 3:00 p.m.

Little information has been shared, but officials say a black Ford Explorer was struck by an unspecified white loading truck. The Ford came to rest blocking the middle lanes, and at least one of the vehicles appeared to be leaking an unknown fluid.

It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously hurt, but tow services were requested at the scene.
