Teen Bicyclist Struck By Car in Oxnard

A 16-year-old boy was struck and injured in a severe car accident that took place on April 24, 2012, around 7:43 p.m. at Cesar Chavez Drive and Rose Avenue. According to witnesses, the teen was riding his bike across the north crosswalk at Cesar Chavez Drive and Rose Avenue against a red light, when he was struck by an Oxnard woman.

The injured victim was immediately transported to Ventura County Medical Center to receive treatment for the moderate injuries suffered.
