Teen driver taken to hospital after colliding with trees, home in Pacific Beach

SAN DIEGO, CA – A teenage boy was taken to the hospital yesterday after he collided with a house in the Pacific Beach area while allegedly under the influence, according to OnScene.TV.

The collision occurred near the intersection of Ingraham and Yosemite at about 12:15 a.m, when the teenage driver of a BMW lost control of the vehicle while traveling at a high rate of speed.

He went across the middle line, then collided with multiple trees and shrubs located in the yard of a home nearby. The BMW then crashed into the house itself, before it rolled over back onto the street, coming to rest upside down.

The victim, whose age and hometown were not immediately released, failed a field sobriety test and will be facing likely charges as a result.

He was taken to the hospital for the treatment of undisclosed injuries.

The occupants of the home were not reported as injured, though they were unable to safely remain inside the building due to damages from the crash.
