Three cars crash near I-805 onramp near Mira Mesa Blvd

SAN DIEGO, CA – At least three vehicles were involved in an accident near an onramp to Interstate 805 on Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A silver sedan crashed into the center median near the onramp at Mira Mesa Boulevard to I-805 south at about 3:50 p.m. The car when back across the lanes to the righthand side striking a white Chevrolet Suburban and a white Ford van. A yellow merge sign was also struck by one of the vehicles.

An ambulance was called to the scene but it unclear who was injured by the accident and the extent of their injuries.

The sign was bent down by whichever vehicle struck it and need a new post.
