Trees need removal after two-car crash in Winchester

SAN DIEGO, CA – Workers were taking care of tree removal after a two-car crash caused damage on a Winchester area road on Tuesday afternoon.

According to CHP, a blue Dodge Ram crashed with a white Subaru in the northbound lanes of State Route 79 at Abelia Street at about 2:40 p.m.

The Subaru was driven up onto the sidewalk by the collision and left facing the wrong way. It was struck two trees that were both damaged by the accident.

Authorities were notified that both trees would need to be assessed for removal.

An ambulance responded to the crash scene but injuries have not been confirmed at this time.
