Turlock, CA- 17-Year Old Girl Killed And Driver Injured In A 2-Vehicle Crash

A 17-year old girl was killed and a driver was injured in a 2-vehicle crash in Turlock, CA on Saturday afternoon, October 12, 2019. The crash was reported to the California Highway Patrol a few minutes after 5 pm to had happened at the intersection of Angelus Street and West Avenue South. 2 teen girls were occupants of an Acura that was heading west on Angelus Street just before the crash happened. The car then stopped at a 2-way stop sign at the intersection with West Avenue South. An SUV then was heading south on West Avenue, which did not have a stop sign at that intersection. The SUV entered the intersection and crashed into the Acura. According to police officers, speed appeared to had been a factor that may have caused the crash. The SUV driver was not injured in the accident. He stayed at the accident site and cooperated with the investigation following the crash.
