Two hurt in multi-vehicle crash near Fallbrook intersection

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — At least two people were injured Friday afternoon during a multi-vehicle collision in Fallbrook, according to California Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at the intersection of West Fig Street and South Mission Road. It was first reported by CHP at 1:54 p.m.

Few details have been released, but three vehicles were involved, including a black pickup truck, a Nissan Rogue, and a Honda sedan.

An ambulance was called to the scene for at least two victims in two different vehicles. The extent of their injuries was not confirmed, but CHP indicated the parties complained of head pain.

The event left multiple southbound lanes of Mission Road blocked, but a tow truck was en route to clear the wrecked vehicles.
