Vehicle T-boned when pickup driver runs red light

SAN DIEGO, CA – A vehicle a T-boned on an intersection in Spring Valley when a pickup truck ran a red light on Tuesday morning, according to CHP.

A blue pickup truck was traveling east on SR-94 when the driver ran through a red light at the intersection with Sweetwater Springs Boulevard at about 6:08 a.m. The pickup truck T-boned a car and both vehicles came to rest in the middle of the intersection.

An ambulance responded to the scene. The condition of the involved parties has not been confirmed.

The cause of the accident remains unclear.
