Woman struck in hit-and-run in San Diego’s Bay Terraces

SAN DIEGO, CA — A woman was hospitalized Friday night after being struck by a vehicle in the Bay Terraces neighborhood in San Diego, according to FOX 5 San Diego.

The incident occurred in the 7800 block of Paradise Valley Road at approximately 9:29 p.m.

The woman was crossing Paradise Valley Road when a westbound vehicle struck her and fled the scene, according to San Diego police.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries that include fractures to her pelvic, tibia, and fibula.

An investigation was underway as of Saturday morning.
