1 arrested, 1 injured in overnight crash in Barrio Logan

SAN DIEGO, CA – According to ABC10 News, one person was arrested and another person was injured following a suspected DUI-related accident in Barrio Logan overnight on Tuesday.

Authorities say the crash took place shortly before 2:00 a.m. in the 3600 block of Main Street. A white sports car was reportedly traveling west on Main Street when the driver struck a row of parked vehicles on the road. One of the parked vehicles then flipped onto the sidewalk and crashed into the side of a building in the impact.

In an attempt to flee the scene, the passenger side door of the vehicle swung open and witnesses say multiple beer bottles fell out of the car. The driver was arrested at the scene on suspicion of DUI.

One passenger was seriously injured in the accident and was given CPR at the scene. They were then transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
