Fire crews called to bicyclists vs vehicle crash in Spring Valley

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA — Authorities were dispatched to a crash involving at least two cyclists and a vehicle Monday afternoon in a Spring Valley residential area, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident was reported at 3048 Central Avenue, near the intersection with Lamar Street. Dispatchers first received the call at around 3:15 p.m.

At this time, no information regarding the circumstances of the event has been provided, but the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page indicates an ambulance was requested at the scene.

It remains unclear at this time how many people were injured and to what extent.
